Campus to Community (C2C)
C2C is a comprehensive online directory of services offered to the public by San Diego State University, an academic community actively engaged in developing real solutions to real problems. These programs, made possible through the efforts of our socially responsible and civic-minded faculty, staff and students, provide access to the latest research, methods and technology, for free or for a nominal fee. We invite you to explore the C2C site and discover our exceptional services.
President's Leadership Fund
The President's Leadership Fund provides flexible, unrestricted resources that enable President Stephen L. Weber to pursue innovation and reward excellence at San Diego State University. Prior to the establishment of this fund in 2002, only .003 percent of SDSU's total budget was available to the president to invest at his discretion. Now, with the support of generous alumni, friends and community partners who contribute to the President's Leadership Fund, Dr. Weber is equipped to respond quickly and decisively to strategic opportunities.
Shared Vision
In 1997, the San Diego State community engaged in a campuswide discussion designed to articulate and establish our current and future priorities. This exercise of shared governance enabled faculty, staff and students to create a “Shared Vision” for the future growth of SDSU.
The final “Shared Vision” document highlights five goals:
- Enhance our commitment to academic excellence
- Nurture a learning-centered university
- Create a community proud of its diversity and committed to social justice
- Promote the growth, development and wise use of use of resources
- Create a genuinely global university
Each year President Weber reports on the university's progress in meeting these goals.
