SDSU - Campus Master Plan

The Campus Master Plan revision was approved by the California State University Board of Trustees on Sept. 21, 2005. An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) evaluated existing conditions and any changes that may result with implementation of the plan. The EIR proposed mitigation measures to be adopted to avoid significant environmental impacts, where possible. Alternatives to the proposed development concept were also considered in the EIR. Below is a timeline outlining the major milestones in the approval process:

October 2004 – June 2005	Community/stakeholder outreach
November 4, 2004	EIR Public Scoping Meeting
November - December 2004	Draft EIR preparation
January 18, 2005 - March 19, 2005	Draft EIR was available for public review and comment
July 2005	CSU Board of Trustees hearing
September 21, 2005	Decision by CSU Board of Trustees
