SAN DIEGO (Tuesday, March 18, 2008) — The San Diego State University Alumni Association will honor 11 alumni for their outstanding work at the 36th annual Montys Awards Gala. The event will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 29 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina.
“Each year we like to take a step back to recognize those people that make SDSU what it is today, its alumni,” said Jim Herrick, executive director of the SDSU Alumni Association. “It is because of the hard work and community minded actions of these awardees that SDSU is able to continue to grow and inspire future generations of leaders. We are proud to call these excellent citizens alumni of this university.”
