Tip for Creating a Smooth-Edged Gif Sized for Your Web Site

For a smooth-edged gif at the size you need, the best results will be obtained using the eps file. These are the steps:

1. Open the eps file in Photoshop in CMYK at 300 dpi.
   
   
2. Reduce the image size down to the desired pixel size.
   
   
3. "Save for Web" under the File menu.
   
   
4. In the Save for Web palette, choose GIF and select the matte color to match the background color of the Web page's color it will be placed on.
