SDSU Offers Expert to Provide Commentary on Granite Hills High School Shooting

SAN DIEGO, Thursday, March 22, 2001 - San Diego State University offers the following professors to provide commentary in the aftermath of today's shooting at Granite Hills High School.

Dr. Angelo Corlett, SDSU associate professor of philosophy, is an expert in ethics and moral, social political and legal philosophy. He is an accomplished scholar in the area of moral rights, responsibility and punishment. He can comment on how the fabric of society has unraveled resulting in more violent acts of young people. John Grant, executive director of the National Center for the 21st Century Schoolhouse, a national facilitator of ideas on school design and programming. Grant can comment on designing safer schools.
