SDSU Offers Experts on Energy Crisis

SAN DIEGO, Monday, April 30, 2001 - San Diego State University offers the following experts to provide commentary on the energy crisis.Dr. Mark Thayer, SDSU professor of economics, can offer expertise on the issue of California's electricity crisis. He has conducted extensive research in geothermal energy, energy resource planning, energy efficiency, electric generation capacity and more. Gordon Shackelford, a member of the SDSU faculty for 27 years, is an expert on energy and the environment. He has a master's degree in Physics and also teaches Physics classes at SDSU.
