"Moving Into Light" to Shine at SDSU
WHAT: "Moving Into Light," a dance trilogy about the magical and inexplicable connections between the ordinary and the extraordinary, will be presented at San Diego State University. The trilogy, performed by "PROWESS" Dancearts Company, is composed of "A Deep Yearning In My Spirit," a tribute to the artistry of unheralded women all over the world; "Invocation," a dance of love and the connection between life and death; and "Presence," a journey into the world of spirits and dreams and inexplicable experiences. THE PRESENTATION IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
WHEN: 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 1999.
WHERE: Don Powell Theatre on the SDSU campus.
BACKGROUND: The dance presentation is part of the "Campus Conversations: The Realities of Diversity" Series sponsored by the Office of Educational Opportunity/Ethnic Affairs (EOP).
