SDSU experts offer insight intoClinton,s visit to Latin America

With a broad international focus, San Diego State University has a number of Latin American experts who can provide perspective on the domestic and international implications of President Clinton,s historic trip to Latin America:

 

Thomas M. Davies, Jr.

Dr. Davies SDSU professor of history and Director of the Center for Latin American Studies, is a widely acclaimed scholar who has researched social and political issues in Latin America for nearly three decades. He recently published the third edition of his book "The Politics of Antipolitics: The Military in Latin America (with Brian Loveman).

 

Norris Clement

An expert on Honduras, Dr. Clement is a professor of economics at SDSU and adjunct professor at El Colegio de la Fronterra Norte in Tijuana. He has taught and written extensively about the economies of Latin America nations, and served as a consultant to the Latin American Scholarship Program of American Universities on the USAID-Honduras Economics Project.
