Photo Opportunity: SDSU Students to Wield Paint Brushes Saturday, March 28 In ‘Neighborly’ Service to Euclid Elementary School
WHAT: Some 25 San Diego State University students are pitching in Saturday to enhance the appearance and security of Euclid Elementary School in City Heights. The school has been the target of recent burglaries. SDSU students will be painting some 20 new window frames. The frames are crucial to enhancing security, according to Ann VanSickle, Euclid principal.
The project is a service of the SDSU Associated Students’ Good Neighbor Program which provides student volunteers for neighborhood projects. Students are also donating canned foods which will be available to families of Euclid students.
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, March 28.
WHERE: 4166 Euclid Avenue, San Diego (near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard)
