CALENDAR: SDSU Lecture Series to Feature Laky’s ‘Sketches in 3-Dimensions’
WHAT: San Diego State University’s School of Art, Design and Art History presents a lecture by Gyöngy Laky entitled, "Sketches in Three-dimensions." Laky is professor of art in the Department of Art at the University of California, Davis. The event is part of SDSU’s Visiting Artists, Lecturers and Exhibitions series.

ARTIST’S BACKGROUND: Laky's sculptural forms incorporate disparate materials that surprise and delight, including plastic bags, nails, orchard prunings and electrical wires. Her work is found in the permanent collections of the American Craft Council, San Francisco Museum of Art and the Savaria Museum, Zombathely, Hungary.
