Qualcomm Employees Graduate from SDSU On-Site MBA Program

SAN DIEGO, Thursday, August 24, 2000 - After gathering every other Friday and Saturday for nearly two years in a conference room, 32 Qualcomm employees-turned-SDSU-MBA-students are graduating on August 25.
From the class topics to the professors, the Qualcomm MBA program is the same as that offered through SDSU's College of Business Administration. The only difference is the location - instead of traveling to the SDSU campus, the MBA program travels to Qualcomm. Graduation ceremonies for the SDSU graduates will be held at Qualcomm.
"Just as businesses must provide excellent customer service, so must the College of Business," said Michael Hergert, dean of the College of Business. "Delivering classes to our students is one way the college is better serving its customers."
The convenience of an off-campus program caught on, and now the College of Business is offering off-campus MBA programs in the Sorrento Valley, Rancho Bernardo and Carlsbad areas.
The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University is a nationally recognized business college, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs that reflect the entrepreneurial and international character of the San Diego region.
