Sentre Partners and SDSU Professor Unveil Sculpture of Alonzo Horton

 

WHAT: Sentre Partners, a San Diego property management firm, will unveil a larger than life-size statue of Alonzo Horton, founder of the main downtown area of the city of San Diego. The bronze sculpture is the work of San Diego State University art professor Jesus Dominguez.

 

WHEN: 12:00 p.m. (NOON), Friday, September 18.

 

WHERE: 225 Broadway Ave., near Home Savings tower and adjacent to Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego.

 

BACKGROUND: The unveiling of the Horton sculpture is the first step in the creation of San Diego,s very own "Walk of Fame", a dream of Sentre Partners, president, Steve Williams.
