Therapy programs available at SDSU/UCSD clinic
Short-term therapy and behavior therapy programs are available to San Diego County residents through the psychology doctoral program operated jointly by the Department of Psychology at San Diego State University and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego.
Based at SDSU, the Psychology Clinic offers therapy programs for individuals, couples and families, as well as treatment for children and adolescents. Specialized services are provides for stress and anxiety disorders, depression, weight control, smoking, chronic pain, and other health-related conditions.
The Clinic operates on a sliding scale based on gross income and family size. Therapists are doctoral students working under the close supervision of a licensed psychologist and faculty member.
The Clinic is open 9 a.m.- 7 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m. 5:30 p.m. Monday and Friday. Interested individuals should telephone the facility for further information at 594-5134.
