Spooky Halloween Costumes, Bubbling Volcanoes, Magic Tricks and More Featured at SDSU's Fall Learning Fair

 

 

WHAT: What happens when you mix baking soda and vinegar? About 100 San Diego State University education students and 150 elementary school children will find out the result to this and other basic science experiments during SDSU's annual Fall Learning Fair. The children will also learn magic card tricks that teach eye-hand coordination and test memory, and work on several art projects.

 

WHEN: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31.

 

WHERE: Town and Village Apartments Parking Lot, 4066

Messina Drive, San Diego.

 

BACKGROUND: All activities at the learning fair are planned and

executed by SDSU education students. The fair provides the future teachers an opportunity to interact with children of different ethnic

backgrounds while providing a valuable

community service and a fun-filled afternoon for

the elementary school kids.

 

DIRECTIONS: Take 805 South to Imperial Avenue exit

Turn right on Imperial and take it to Messina Dr.

Make a left on Messina and you've found it.
