Gifts-in-Kind
Through gifts-in-kind, a donor can help the university strengthen its programs and improve its facilities so that we can offer the best possible educational experience to our students. A gift-in-kind is a tangible item or product, which once donated can either be used by the university or sold to an outside party (where proceeds are then applied to philanthropic programs). Unlike gifts of cash and securities, such gifts allow a donor to receive the benefit or charitable contribution without drawing on cash flow and cash reserves. They also provide the university substantial value.
