The Imperial Valley Campus - Points of Excellence

  • San Diego State’s Imperial Valley Campus was selected as one of 10 institutions of higher learning in the United States to be distinguished as a National Center of Excellence, awarding the campus with $25,000.

  • The California Center for Border and Regional Economic Studies (CCBRES), established in 1998, specializes in research and database development in the areas of U.S./Mexico trade relations and the Imperial Valley. The center collects and compiles statistics on trade between California and Mexico, as well as encourages research in this field.

  • Blending both theory and practice, the Division of Continuing Education provides high quality programs to both the Imperial and Mexicali Valleys.
